Mark Huffstutler

SkyWay is headed by longtime aviation business veteran Mark Huffstutler. Mark, a certified A&P mechanic, holds an ATP rating and over 15,000 flight hours in aircraft ranging from gliders and helicopters to warbirds and business jets. In the early 1980’s Mark founded Sierra Industries, a pioneer for more than 30 years in FAA-certified performance modifications for piston and turbine-powered Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft. SkyWay leverages that deep expertise to provide unparalleled support for a variety of Cessna and other aircraft.
VJ Mcelroy
CFO
As CFO of the Skyway companies, VJ McElroy draws on a career spanning public accounting, commercial banking, and multi-industry investment. A CPA, former PwC associate, and bank executive, he has managed major commercial real estate portfolios and previously served as CFO for a multi-industry family office, where he evaluated and closed acquisitions across more than half a dozen operating companies. VJ oversees financial operations, capital strategy, and banking relationships across the Skyway enterprises and most recently led the successful acquisition of a Part 135 charter aviation operation.
Steve Lawrence
Chief Inspector
Aviation professional with a strong background in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and leadership. Attended Hallmark Institute of Aeronautics, earning an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate. Began career as a Structures Mechanic with Fairchild Aircraft Co., developing hands-on expertise in aircraft structures and repairs. Advanced to A&P Technician and Crew Lead with Sierra Industries, providing technical oversight and team leadership. Currently serves as Chief Inspector with Skyway MRO Services, responsible for regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness and safety.
Donnie Damschen
Director of MRO
Donnie Damschen is the Director of Operations at Skyway MRO Services where they specialize in Small Business Jet maintenance, modifications and repairs with over 35 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Donnie has a proven track record of high customer service and leading project teams. Outside the office, Donnie can be found watching his favorite football team and playing with his grandkids.

Tom Canavera, SkyWay MRO Business Development Manager, is a proactive leader dedicated to transforming aviation MRO departments for profitability and to meet company strategic goals. Proven performance in marketing, sales, customer service, and insurance risk management, operations, and aircraft delivery. More than 35 years in identifying and providing product, sales and customer service solutions.

Pete Conrad

Pete Conrad is the son of NASA astronaut Pete Conrad and has grown up with aerospace in his blood. With nearly 30 years of experience at Sierra Industries, Pete is an acknowledged expert on Sierra’s famed piston-engine aircraft modifications.
